What is Colour coated coil?
Colour Roof coil coating incorporates specific processes for each type of substrate, has cleaning and pre-treatment processes different for each input variation and a chemical dip surface conversion process-specific again to each metal and substrate coating.
What is Colour coated coil use for?
Colour-coated coils are most widely used in construction, which consumes more than half of the amount produced worldwide. The coating type directly depends on the exposure conditions. Colour-coated steel is used in various interior finishing work and facade elements.
What does color coated mean?
Colour coating is a term used to describe the application of a decorative and/or protective organic coating to steel substrate supplied in coil form.Colour coated steel is also called as pre-painted steel.
For galvanized steel coils, the steel sheet is immersed in a molten zinc bath to make a sheet of zinc coated on its surface. It is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in a plating tank with zinc melted to make galvanized steel plate; alloyed galvanized steel plate. This kind of steel plate is also manufactured by hot dip method, but immediately after being out of the tank, it is heated to about 500 ℃ to form an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and weldability.
