Grassland 4 inch 100mm ultra thin Cutting Discs for carbon steel

Description

Grassland Steel Cutting Disc 100 x 1.0x 16mm :
- Steel cutting disc.
- Outer diameter 100mm.
- Inner bore diameter 16mm.
- Thickness 1.0mm.
- Provides fast and smooth cutting.

Metal Cutting Discs are manufactured using with tough aluminum oxide, heat-treated aluminum oxide , monocrystalline fused alumina (SA) or silicon carbide abrasive grain and fibreglass reinforcing and resin bonded to provide both safety and optimum cutting performance. Thin Discs with a 1.2mm thickness permit fine cutting where necessary on stainless steel and high grade metals,extremely fast cutting with sharpness ,minimal vibration for more comfortable working,

They must never be used for grinding and must always be presented to the workpiece at an angle of 90º.

For use with a variety of machines, mini-grinders to stationary cutting-off machines.

Features

Outstanding balance between lifetime and cutting speed

Precise cutting thanks to reduced disc thickness (applies to discs with a thickness of less than 2 mm)

Complies with both the EN 12413 and OSA (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives) standards for enhanced safety

Applications

They are commonly used in building, shipbuilding, metal, foundry, engineering, chemical and other industries as well as in smaller workshops. They can be used on portable electrically or pneumatically driven portable horizontal/vertical spindle grinders.
