Bentley Nevada speed sensor system measures absolute (relative to free space) vibration of a bearing box, housing, or structure. The two-wire system consists of a sensor, a cable, and an optional speed-to-displacement converter. Bently9200 series speed sensors are two-wire structures using moving coil technology to provide voltage output directly proportional to the vibration speed of the sensor. Unlike solid speed sensors, moving coil sensors are less sensitive to impact or pulse excitation, making them a better choice for applications. In addition, they make portable measurement applications more convenient because they do not require an external power supply. High performance in casing speed measurement, more solid structure.
