High Efficiency Activated Carbon drying furnace with Internal and External Heating
SELP activation furnace is a vertical activation furnace equipment, which is built with Fire brick. The common models are SELP-288 and SELP-392.
The specific process is as follows: (Taking coal as a case study)
1. The raw coal is crushed and ground, and then a certain amount of water and tar are added for mixing. The mixed material enters the column press for strong compression, forming cylindrical carbon particles.
2. Air drying or drying, the cylindrical coal produced by the press machine has a high moisture content, which requires air drying or drying to enhance its hardness and avoid loosening.
3. After drying, the material enters the carbonization furnace for high-temperature heating. This step mainly involves cracking the components and tar in the cylindrical carbon. Under high temperature conditions, the cylindrical coal becomes more solid, has higher strength, and carbonizes more fully.
4. The carbonized material enters the SELP activation furnace for steam activation. The SELP activation furnace has left and right furnace bodies, and a regenerative chamber is installed at the rear. The two can be switched back and forth, and the left and right half furnaces are fed separately.
The main raw materials of cylindrical activated carbon include bamboo, coal, straw, etc
