Efficiently Automated Activated Carbon Processing Machinery with Advanced Features
The entire activated carbon deep processing system is composed of three parts, including activated carbon crushing, screening and sand removal system, activated carbon ash and sheet cleaning system, and activated carbon screening and packing system.
Firstly, activated carbon crushing screening and sand removal system. This system is composed of several pieces of equipment, such as 1st level crusher, 2nd level crusher, silo, 1st elevator, 2nd elevator, belt conveyor, etc. The raw materials vary in size and specifications, so we need to process them into materials with the same specification. The double-stage crushing perfectly meets this requirement, and then the materials will be screened out. The yield can be increased at the same time.
Secondly, activated carbon ash removal system. The processed materials are conveyed by the belt conveyor to a floating carbon separator for further processing. This system mainly adopts the air separation principle to remove the floating ash on the surface of the activated carbon, and the ash content of the material can be reduced.
Finally, activated carbon screening and packaging system. After the ash removal process, the material can be screened out by a linear vibrating screen. After the material goes into the automatic packaging system, we can set the corresponding weight. The automatic packing machine will weigh and package the material according to this weight. Then staffs can assist in stitching the packaging bags, which can finally be shipped and stored.
Activated carbon is a multifunctional material that has a wide range of applications in various industries due to its excellent adsorption and filtration properties. Here are some common applications of activated carbon:
Water treatment:
Water Purification: Activated carbon is widely used in water treatment to remove organic pollutants, chlorine and other impurities and improve taste and odor.
Groundwater Remediation: Can be used to treat groundwater contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other contaminants.
Wastewater treatment: Activated carbon is used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment to remove organic and inorganic pollutants.
Air purification:
Air Filtration: Activated carbon filters are used in air purifiers and HVAC systems to remove odors, gases, and volatile organic compounds from indoor air.
Gas masks and respirators: Activated charcoal is integrated into gas masks and respirators to protect against harmful chemical agents and fumes.
Medical and pharmaceutical:
Poisoning and Overdose Treatment: Activated charcoal is taken orally in the emergency room to treat poisoning and overdose due to its ability to adsorb toxins.
Kidney dialysis: In some kidney dialysis machines, activated charcoal is used to remove impurities from the blood.
Food and Beverage Industry:
Decolorization: Activated carbon is used to remove color and impurities from sugar solutions, juices and cooking oils.
Purification: Used in the production of alcoholic beverages such as vodka and whiskey to remove impurities and improve product purity.
Environmental cleanup:
Spill Cleanup: In environmental cleanup efforts, activated carbon is used to absorb and clean up oil and chemical spills.
Soil remediation: Treating contaminated soil by adsorbing contaminants.
Gold recycling:
In the gold mining industry, activated carbon is used to adsorb gold from cyanide leachates during the gold extraction process.
Gas storage and separation:
In gas storage and separation systems, activated carbon can adsorb and store gases such as methane and hydrogen, which is beneficial to their separation and purification.
Chemical processing:
Catalyst supports used in purification of various chemicals and chemical reactions.
Industrial process:
Activated carbon is widely used in industrial processes to remove impurities and contaminants from gases and liquids.
Odor control:
It can be used in a variety of odor control applications such as wastewater treatment plants, landfills and pet waste.
Electrochemical Capacitors:
Activated carbon is used as an electrode material in supercapacitors due to its high surface area and electrical conductivity.
Energy Storage:
In energy storage systems such as batteries, activated carbon can be used in many forms, including supercapacitors and electrode materials for energy storage.
Cigarette Filters:
Activated carbon is used in cigarette filters to reduce the levels of harmful compounds smokers inhale.
Activated carbon's ability to effectively adsorb a variety of substances makes it an important material in numerous applications ranging from environmental protection to industrial processes, healthcare, and more. Its versatility and efficiency in removing impurities and contaminants makes it a valuable tool in many industries.

Activated Carbon Plant Machinery must be packaged and shipped with care, as it is a delicate and important piece of equipment. The most common packaging for this equipment is a sturdy box or crate made of wood, metal, or plastic. The box should be lined with thick padding such as foam or bubble wrap to protect the equipment from damage during transit. It should also be clearly labeled with the contents and destination. It is important to use a reliable shipping service to ensure that the equipment arrives in good condition.
