DDC Acidifer Effective Digestive and Antibacterial Functions for Livestock
DDCacid F
Preface
Compound feed acidifier can prevent animal gastrointestinal discases, improve immunity, promote growth, and improve feed utilization rate. Compound feed acidifier has a great potential to replace antibiotic with the features of safety and environmental-friendly.
Main Components
Formic acid≥40%, Lactic acid≥5%, Fumaric acid≥5%, synergist and carrier etc. Total acid ≥70% (measured in Lactic acid).
It is non-stimulation, good palatability, low hygroscopicity and good stability.
Physical Description
White powder.
Features
1. All organic acids are used in the formula, and the use effect is guaranteed;
2. Formic acid is used efficiently in the formulation, and the product has digestive and antibacterial functions at the same time;
3. This product has a strong antibacterial function, which can reduce the diarrhea rate of animals and improve the health of piglets;
4. This product has a strong antibacterial function, which can reduce the diarrhea rate of animals and improve the health of piglets;
5. Use the unique acid and aroma combination technology of DDC to reduce the irritation of acid raw materials and do not affect eating.
Application Effect
Piglets test
The experiment was conducted on DDC Pengshan Farm in November 2022. A total of 216 weaned three-way hybrid piglets with similar body weight and 28 days of age were set up in 3 treatments with 12 replicates per treatment and 6 pigs per replicate. The experiment lasted for 42 days. The basic diet is a typical corn-soybean meal diet. On 42d of the experiment, the experimental pigs were weighed and feed intake was recorded, and ADG, ADFI and F/G were calculated.
Table 1
Group | Treatment |
A | control group |
B | A+0.3% DDCacid F |
C | A+0.3% other acidifier from market |
Table 2 Effect of acidifiers on the performance of weaned piglets
Group | ADFI (g) | ADG (g) | F/G |
A | 629 | 411 | 1.53 |
B | 712 | 493 | 1.44 |
C | 694 | 462 | 1.50 |
Conclusion: adding 3kg/mt DDCacid F was more effective compared with the control group and the other acidifier from market.
White broiler test
This experiment was conducted on a DDC cooperative farm in December 2022. 180 1-day-old white broilers were selected and randomly divided into three groups with 10 replicates per group and 6 chickens per replicate. The broilers in the control group were feed a basic diet (corn-soybean meal type diet with only anticoccidial drugs added), the ones in the competing group were feed 1kg/mt DDCacid F, and the other were feed 1kg/mt other acidifier from market. The experiment lasted for 42d.
Table 3
Group | ADFI (g) | ADG (g) | F/G | Diarrhea rate% | Slaughtering rate % |
A(control) | 92.68 | 62.33 | 1.487 | 7.55 | 97.22 |
B( other acidifier) | 92.81 | 62.35 | 1.489 | 6.10 | 98.33 |
C(DDCacid F) | 93.02 | 62.82 | 1.481 | 4.13 | 99.44 |
Conclusion: Adding 1kg/t of DDCacid F to the diet of white feather broilers can improve the growth performance of white feather broilers to a certain extent.
Compared with the other two groups, the diarrhea rate and slaughtering rate of the DDCacid F group was significantly improved.
