DDCacid C
Preface
Compound feed acidifier can prevent animal gastrointestinal discases, improve immunity, promote growth, and improve feed utilization rate. Compound feed acidifier has a great potential to replace antibiotic with the features of safety and environmental-friendly.
Main Components
Lactic acid, Fumaric acid, Citric acid, Phosphoric acid, other acid and carrier etc. It is non-stimulation, good palatability, low hygroscopicity and good stability.
Physical Description
White powder or fine granule
Features
The bacteriostatic effect against Gram-negative bacteria (Salmonella and Escherichia coli) was better than that of antibiotics. It has a good bacteriostatic effect on Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus).
Decrease the feed pH and buffer capacity, improve the digestive enzymes activity.
Improve gastrointestinal micro-ecological environment, promote the breeding of the beneficial bacteria.
Improve the internal environment, enhance the immunity, and relieve the stress.
Animal Trail 1
The animal trial was conducted in DDC’S animal farm in February 2022. 180 DLY weaned piglets at 28d were divided into 3 treatments, 12 replicates each, 5 pigs per replicate, and the test lasted for 42 days. Each group had the same basic diet, A was the control group, and the basic diet was the typical corn-soybean meal diet.
Table 1 Trial design
Group | Treatment |
A | Control |
B | Control+0.3% Feed Acidifier |
C | Control+0.3% benzoic acid |
Table 2 Effect of Feed Acidifier on the production performance in piglets
Group | ADFI(g) | ADG(g) | F/G | Diarrhea rate% |
A | 606 | 374 | 1.62 | 8.39 |
B | 698 | 453 | 1.54 | 3.60 |
C | 625 | 399 | 1.57 | 6.22 |
Conclusion: With the addition of 3kg/t Feed Acidifier, the diarrhea rate effect was reduced and the growth performance was improved compared with the control group and benzoic acid group.
Animal Trail 2
The animal trial was conducted in DDC’S cooperation animal farm in February 2022. 180 broilers aged 1d were divided into 3 treatments, 10 replicates each, 6 broilers per replicate, and the test lasted for 42 days. Each group had the same basic diet, group A was the control group, and the basic diet was the typical corn-soybean meal diet with anticoccidian drugs only. Adding 1kg/t benzoic acid in group B and 1kg/t Feed Acidifier in group C.
Table 3 Effects of different acidifier in production performance of broilers
Group | ADFI (g) | ADG (g) | F/G | Diarrhea rate% | Column rate% |
A(control) | 92.73 | 62.42 | 1.48 | 8.03 | 96.15 |
B(control+0.1% benzoic acid) | 92.85 | 62.38 | 1.49 | 6.33 | 97.76 |
C(control+0.1% Feed Acidifier) | 93.09 | 63.16 | 1.47 | 4.02 | 98.88 |
Conclusion: Comparing with the other two groups, the addition of 1kg/t Feed Acidifier can improve the growth performance, diarrhea rate and column rate of broilers .
Conclusion:
3kg / t Feed Acidifier was more effective compared with the control group and other acidifier.
