First generation smoke extinguishing

Second generation K aerosol extinguishing
K-type aerosol fire-extinguishing technology, also known as potassium salt fire-extinguishing technology, is the second stage of the development of aerosol fire-extinguishing technology, developed by Beijing institute of technology.The aerosol generator mainly uses nitrate of potassium as the main oxidant, and its spray has high extinguishing efficiency, but because it contains a large number of potassium ions, it is easy to absorb moisture, forming a sticky conductive material.This substance is very destructive to electronic equipment, so k-type aerosol automatic fire extinguishing device cannot be used in electronic equipment and precision instruments.Use in the market is declining rapidly.
Third generation S aerosol extinguishing
The third generation of aerosol type (S) is mainly composed of strontium salt background antioxidant, and the second generation of potassium (K) aerosol, strontium ions not hygroscopic, won't form a conductive solution, will not cause damage to electrical equipment, In 2001, after strict inspection and verification, China mobile communications group finally selected strontium salt aerosol to protect its communication base stations and other places equipped with precision electronic equipment.
