Usage Method

1. Let the baby lie on his back, clean the part needed for blood collection with a disinfectant cotton sheet, and let it air dry naturally. Do not touch the disinfected part.

2. Remove the outer package of the blood collector and do not put the blood collector in an unsterilized place. Remove the safety buckle of the blood collector and do not push the launching button or touch the blade.

3. Lift the baby's feet higher than its heart, select the safe blood collection position according to the "Baby Blood Collection Site Schematic Diagram", and align the blood collection mouth of the blood collector vertically with the blood collection site.

4. When the flat end of the blood collection mouth contacts the skin gently, press the launch button to collect blood, and move the blood collection device quickly to the blood extraction site.

5. Gently wipe away the first drop of blood with a dry sterile gauze.

6.1 Gently press appropriately and collect appropriate blood samples with the blood sampling tube. After the blood collection, gently press the cut with a dry sterilized gauze to stop bleeding and prevent hematoma.

6.2 Gently press properly, directly drop blood on the blood carrier card for sampling, and collect at least 3 blood spots continuously. After the blood collection, gently press the cut with a dry sterile gauze to stop bleeding and prevent hematoma.

Contraindication

1. Do not use it on infants (including fever) unless absolutely necessary.

2. Do not collect blood samples at the same location twice.

3. Do not use on infants with swelling, infection or inflammation of the puncture site.

4. Do not use the puncture site by skin disease or skin injury of infants.

5. Avoid selecting the skin within 2mm of the sampling site where samples have been collected before.

Matters Needing Attention

1. If the safety buckle of the blood collector is lost or the Xun is broken, do not use it.

2. The blood sampler is disposable. Please replace it with a new one for each blood sampling.

3. The safe area for infants to take blood samples is between a line drawn from the middle of the fourth and fifth toes parallel to the side of the foot and a line drawn from the big toe parallel to the side of the foot.

4. When disinfecting the blood collection part, the disinfecting diameter should be above 2cm.

5. Underdeveloped blood vessels may cause insufficient blood flow.

6. If you need to preheat the heel, 42℃ to 44℃ is beneficial to promote blood flow, but more than 44℃ will cause burns.

7. The blood collector should be attached to the site of blood collection and inserted into the needle vertically, but should not be too hard to avoid causing deep and harmful wound depth.

8. Always be alert when using the blood sampling device to avoid accidental injury to yourself and others.

9. After blood collection, attention must be paid to the site of blood collection to prevent re-bleeding or inflammation.

10. The blood collection device is sterilized by irradiation, and its validity period is 3 years. If the validity period is exceeded, the use is strictly prohibited.

11. The blood collector may be infectious after use, so it should not be discarded at will to prevent pollution and injury
