Features
One of the main advantages of air suspension cars is the improved driving comfort, making them suitable for daily driving. Adjustable air suspension makes driving on poor quality roads more comfortable.
Air suspension is a vehicle suspension powered by an electric or engine driven air pump or compressor. This compressor pumps air into a flexible corrugated tube, typically made of steel, aluminum, and rubber. Unlike hydraulic and pneumatic suspensions that provide many similar functions, air suspension does not use pressurized fluid, but instead uses pressurized air. The air pressure causes the bellows to expand and lifts the chassis off the axle.Instead of a metal spring mechanism, a sturdy rubber bag serves as an air container.
These bags are connected to air compressors and storage tanks. The compressor is responsible for inflating and deflating the bag, which is how the car is raised and lowered. The resulting effect is a smoother ride and more versatile performance. These systems are equipped with a control unit located inside the vehicle, allowing the driver to fully control the system. Pillars have the same shock-absorbing function as shock absorbers. Internally, the pillars resemble shock absorbers. The piston is connected to the end of the piston rod and opposes hydraulic oil to control the movement of the spring and suspension.
