Due to the high thermal conductivity and low cutting force of magnesium alloy, the heat dissipation speed in the process of machining is very fast, so the tool life is long and the amount of sticking tool is small, which can reduce the cost of cutting tool and shorten the downtime needed for changing the tool.
Because magnesium is easy to cut, its chip breaking performance is very good, in general, only after a single finishing can achieve the required final surface finish.
