Product Description
High Quality Customizable ASTM 304 316 316L 1mm to 10mm Stainless Steel Plate Decorative Perforated Stainless Steel Pattern Plate
Our exquisite Stainless Steel Diamond Plate undergoes meticulous processing through advanced mechanical equipment. This process bestows the surface with an elegant concave and convex pattern, adding both beauty and functionality.
304: General model; that is, 18/8 stainless steel. Products such as: corrosion-resistant containers, tableware, furniture, railings, medical equipment. The standard composition is 18% chromium plus 8% nickel. It is a non-magnetic stainless steel whose metallographic structure cannot be changed by heat treatment. The GB grade is 06Cr19Ni10.
316: After 304, the second most widely used steel grade, mainly used in the food industry, watch accessories, pharmaceutical industry and surgical equipment, adding molybdenum to give it a special corrosion-resistant structure. Because it has better chloride corrosion resistance than 304, it is also used as "marine steel". SS316 is usually used in nuclear fuel recovery devices. 18/10 grade stainless steel usually meets this application level.
316 L: Low carbon, so it is more corrosion-resistant and easy to heat treat. Products such as: chemical processing equipment, nuclear power generators, and refrigerant storage tanks.

Production Technology Process Stainless Steel Pattern Plate is categorized into two distinct types:
The first type involves stainless steel produced in steel mills through a rolling process. This variant typically features a thickness of about 3-6mm and undergoes hot rolling followed by annealing and pickling. The detailed process is as follows:
Stainless steel billet → rolled into black coil via hot tandem mill → hot annealing and pickling line → flattening machine, straightening machine, polishing line → cross-cutting line → hot-rolled stainless steel pattern plate
One side of this high-strength pattern plate is flat, while the other showcases a unique pattern. It is predominantly utilized in chemical industries, railway vehicles, platforms, and other high-strength required environments. These products are often imported, primarily from Japan and Belgium, though domestic producers like TISCO and Baosteel also manufacture similar items.
The second type involves market processing enterprises, which purchase hot-rolled or cold-rolled stainless steel plates from steel mills. Through mechanical stamping, these plates are transformed into patterned plates with a delightful concave and convex design, widely used in general civil decoration. Most products of this type are cold-rolled, prominently 2B/BA cold-rolled stainless steel pattern plates available in the market.
Differences
The Distinction Between Stainless Steel and Patterned Steel
Firstly, the Material Composition
Stainless steel is an iron alloy containing at least 11% chromium, renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance and resilience to rust. Patterned steel, on the other hand, involves machine embossing ordinary carbon steel or alloy steel to create various textured patterns, resulting in a visually appealing surface.
Secondly, the Characteristics
1. Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is characterized by its superior corrosion resistance, extended lifespan, and robust strength and hardness. It boasts high and low temperature resistance, strong tensile strength, and possesses a degree of toughness and plasticity, making it easy to process and form. Additionally, stainless steel enhances surface gloss for an improved aesthetic.
2. Patterned Steel
Patterned steel is distinguished by its excellent decorative effect, suitable for interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and select furniture. It also offers good corrosion resistance and is less prone to rust. The treated surface increases its hardness, making it resistant to scratches.
