Ex Stock 26SWG Balco Alloy Bare Wire Alloy 120 Used For Resistance Thermometers

Tankii Ni72Fe Alloy is a nickel-iron alloy with a thermal conductivity similar to nickel but twice the resistivity. It is used for making low cost resistance temperature sensors.

This alloy is characterized by very low resistivity and high temperature coefficient of resistance.

Its principal use is for resistance thermometers (resistance temperature detectors).

It is also mechanically strong and fairly corrosion resistant.

Ni72fe is a nickel-iron alloy for use at temperatures up to 600°C.

Typical applications for Ni72Fe:

1. Voltage regulators,

2. Timing devices,

3. Temperature sensitive resistors,

4. Temperature compensating devices

5. Low temperature heating applications.

NiCr 60:15 – Industrial furnaces (upto 1100°C), electrically heated equipment, high-resistance and potentiometer resistors.

NiCr 40:20 – Domestic heating appliances (upto 1050°C), furnaces in carburising or semi-reducing atmosphere.
