Ex stock wire 0.45mm Alloy120 Balco Alloy mws-120 Used For temperature compensating devices
Common names: NF70, Alloy120 , Balco alloy, Mws-120, Nifethal 70
Ni72Fe Alloy is a nickel-iron alloy with a thermal conductivity similar to nickel but twice the resistivity. It is used for making low cost resistance temperature sensors.
This alloy is characterized by very low resistivity and high temperature coefficient of resistance.
Its principal use is for resistance thermometers (resistance temperature detectors).
It is also mechanically strong and fairly corrosion resistant.
They are used in voltage regulators, timing devices, temperature sensitive resistors, temperature compensating devices and low temperature heating applications.
Ni72fe is a nickel-iron alloy for use at temperatures up to 600°C.
Typical applications for Ni72Fe:
1. Voltage regulators,
2. Timing devices,
3. Temperature sensitive resistors,
4. Temperature compensating devices
5. Low temperature heating applications.
