600 Volts Aerial Bundled Cable For Overhead Line

1. Application
This series includes: ABC cable, * All aluminum conductors (AAC) * All aluminum alloy conductors (AAAC) * Aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) * Anti-corrosion type ACSR * All steel conductors
2. Standards:
Relative manufacturing standards: IEC61089, ASTM B231, B232, BS215, DIN48204
3. Construction of 1 x 70 mm2 3 x 120 mm2 2 x 16 mm2 abc cable
PHASE CONDUCTORS :
Phase conductors made of aluminium wires are circular stranded, rounded and compacted with smooth circular surface. Our products are available 16 mm2 as solid, 25 to 70 mm2 7 wired; from 95 mm2 to onwards as 19 wired confirming TS 11654.

MESSENGER (NEUTRAL) CONDUCTOR :
Bare, round, stranded and compacted aluminium alloy (294 N/mm2).

INSULATION :
Phase conductors of Aerial Bundled Cables are insulated by black coloured PE or XLPE which are weather resistant.

CORE IDENTIFICATION of 16 mm overhead XLPE/Al insulated abc cable :
Phase conductors two, three and four longitudinal ridges, street lighting conductor without ridges.
