Low cost-After deducting the initial mold and development costs, die casting has become one of the most cost-effective methods for producing large numbers of parts.
Design freedom-thin-walled castings can provide a sheet metal-like finish, with greater design flexibility. The die-casting process can achieve complex surface details, and can be combined with the use of sheet metal stamping parts or injection molded plastic to connect bosses, lugs and structural features that cannot be achieved.
Part integration-Because die casting can produce very complex shapes with great precision, many features (such as bosses, heat sinks and cores) can be integrated into one piece, thereby improving quality and strength while reducing overall weight and cost.
