0.8~40dB MM 50/125 or 62.5/125 In-line Variable Optical Attenuator manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited uses collimator lens technology enabling the user to change attenuation through the twist of a top-mounted screw. This variable attenuator can be used to simulate the loss in a fiber system or testing your system's dynamic range. A power meter and light source can be used to determine the fixed attenuation value your system requires.The in-line variable attenuator has a 0.8dB typical insertion loss and is available in a 0.5m or 1meter or other customized length. This Collimator variable optical attenuator (VOA) is a fiber optic attenuator that is available in Single mode, Multimode 62.5 and Multimode 50µm. These attenuators can be terminated with any connector option including, SC, SC/APC, ST, ST/APC, FC, FC/APC, LC, LC/APC and E2000. This is useful tool for the optical components power adjustment and systems test.
