Description
XFP-10GB-LR manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is compliant with the 10G Small Form-Factor Pluggable (XFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), supporting data-rate of 10.3125Gbps(10GBASE-LR) or 9.953Gbps 10GBASE-LW), SONET/SDH, Ethernet Fiber Channel and IEEE 802.3 based applications.Transceivers are offered in SR (850 nm wavelength) and LR (1310 nm wavelength) configurations and are well suited for single channel (per I/O port), storage network, and SONET transmission applications. Each transceiver has a duplex LC optical interface for the optical cable. Both SR and LR configurations feature a hot-pluggable 30-position board side connector interface. Operating case temperature range is 0°C to 70°C. All transceiver products are fully RoHS 6 compliant.
The transceiver module comprises a transmitter with 1310nm uncooled EML laser and a receiver with a PIN photodiode. Transmitter and receiver are separate within a wide temperature range of 0℃ to +70℃ and offers optimum heat dissipation and excellent electromagnetic shielding thus enabling high port densities for 10 GbE systems.
