Gunning Refractory Material is an unformed refractory material made by mechanical spraying with pneumatic tools.
Gunning Refractory Material consists of refractory fillers, powders and binders (or additives).
Due to the repeated continuous exposure of cement and aggregates and other components of the materials during the spraying process to promote densification of the Gunning Refractory Material, the sprayed layer has better density and mechanical strength.

Gunning Refractory Material are classified into light spray coatings, medium and heavy spray coatings, and heavy duty spray coatings according to the bulk density of the material.
Light refractory Gunning Refractory Material is used as heat-protecting and heat-insulating substrate, medium and heavy-duty spray paint can be used as heat-insulating substrate, while heavy-duty spray paint is mainly used as working substrate.
