Definition:

Silica Brick​​ s made of silicon as raw material with high temp firing ,which silicon oxide is above 93% ,used in hot blast furnace,coke oven,glass kiln,these brick have good volume stability at high temperature, high refractoriness under the load,small rate of shrinkage in working condition.

It is slowly fired at 1350 ~ 1430℃ in reducing atmosphere. When heated to 1450℃, about 1.5~2.2% of the total volume expansion, the residual expansion will make the cut joints close, to ensure that the masonry has good air tightness and structural strength.

Aluminum silicate refractory brick

Application:

Silica brick is mainly used for coking chamber and combustor of coke making furnace, regenerator chamber and cinder chamber of steel making open hearth furnace, soaking pit, refractory material of glass melting furnace, sintering of ceramic and other kiln storage. Used for furnace partition Other load bearing parts.

It is also used for high temperature load bearing parts of high temperature blast furnaces and the upper part of acid open hearth furnaces.

Silica Brick​​ for glass furnace refers to the silicon refractory product used in the high temperature part of the glass kiln (not in contact with the glass liquid), it is a kind of acid refractory mainly made from tridymite, cristobalite and a small amount of residual quartz as well as glass phase. The raw refractory material is natural silica sand whose SiO2 content should be more than 96%. The higher SiO2 content in silica sand, the higher temperature silica bricks resist.

Glass kiln Silica Brick​​ has high temperature and volume stability, no pollution to glass liquid, chemical corrosion resistance, small bulk density, and can reduce the weight of furnace body.
