Decorative wire mesh Panels
The best material for weaving webs is metal, which has been made into wire. The main difference between woven and welded mesh is that the various wires of woven mesh are not actually connected together at any point. They are simply held in place by the alternating nature of the relative positions of adjacent wires. This gives the wire mesh a flexible property that exceeds the flexibility of the wire used. Therefore, the result of a more rigid and self-supporting panel and any resulting flexibility will depend on the diameter and quality of the wire. Woven wire mesh board is a traditional product that is still in production and has been around for hundreds of years. Welded mesh is a relatively modern invention, designed as a cheaper option because it is more economical to mass produce. Therefore, welded mesh panels are used for more industrial and practical applications, such as fences and animal cages.
About Galfan Decorative Wire mesh
Galfan is a carbon steel wire with a coating of 95% zinc and 5% aluminum. The thicker zinc coating makes this wire more resistant to corrosion than "conventionally coated" pre-electromagnet wire. Due to the addition of aluminum to the mixture, the coating is allowed to become heavier. Aluminum allows the ductility of the wire to remain high, preventing the coating from cracking during the metal mesh manufacturing process.
Points to note when specifying Galfan mesh:
Galfan has a coating thickness similar to that of "hot dip" galvanizing, so the performance in the external environment is technically comparable. Garvan does have the ability to "self-heal" small scrapes and blemishes. However, the coating only protects the steel if zinc is present. If the Galfan coating is damaged due to further manufacturing and machining of the wire mesh, then you can expect rust in these areas. If there is additional heavy manufacturing to do with wire mesh, consider hot dipping the entire assembly after instead.
About Decorative Wire Mesh
Decorative wire mesh used for interior and exterior decoration of buildings. It can be made of a variety of materials, is a new type of environmental protection decorative materials.
There are many styles of decorative nets, such as net curtains (fireplace net curtains, lock net curtains, chain curtains, etc.), woven nets can be used in bed sheets, screens, grilles, cabinet doors, etc.
Decorative mesh is used in hotels, restaurants and lobbies to add modernity, artistry and elegance to the architecture and interior, while also creating a comfortable environment.
Decorative nets for outdoor use are not only required to be durable, but also to have excellent corrosion resistance, especially in humid environments and near the sea. Interior decoration net is not only beautiful, but also artistic. Therefore, the material of the decorative net is particularly important.
