MV XLPE Insulated Copper Cable Introduction:
MV xlpe insulated cable is used for power transmission and distribution line with voltage rated at 35kv and below. Compared with PVC Insulated Power cable, XLPE power cable boasts not only characteristics of excellent electricity, mechanism, heat and aging- resistant, environment stress-resistant and chemical corrosion-resistant, but also simple structure, light weight, no restriction by laying drop, and high temperature allowance for long term working.
XLPE cable could be able to bear certain traction during installation, and armoured xlpe cable could external mechanical forces.
XLPE Insulated Copper Cable Usage Characteristics:
1). Rated power frequency voltage up to 35KV.
2). Max. Permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor: 90℃
3). Max. Short-circuit temperature of the conductor shall not exceed: (5S maximum duration) 250℃
4). The ambient temperature under installation should not below 0℃
5). The bending radius of a cable should not be less than 15 times of the cable diameter.
6).The flame-retardant properties of cable comply with grade A, B, C of GB/T19666-2005 or IEC60332.
