40mm HDPE Electrofusion Equal Tee

An hdpe electrofusion equal tee is used to split a HDPE pipe into two outlets at right angles to the end of the original pipe, or to add in an outlet to a PE Pipe. Electrofusion equal tees are made with an equal size pipe diameter on all three ends. With a size range from 20 mm to 180 mm, electrofusion equal tee fittings come in SDR 11 (which also suits SDR 13.6 & SDR 17).

The HDPE electrofusion equivalent tee is used to divide the HDPE pipe into two outlets at right angles to the end of the original pipe, or to add an outlet branch pipe to the HDPE pipe. Electrofusion equal tees have the same size tube diameter at all three ends.

Internally, an electrofusion tee houses a resistor connected to an external cable terminal. When an electric current is passed through them, these resistors generate the heat needed to melt the polyethylene. The energy is transferred directly and exclusively to the surfaces where the pipes and fittings come into contact, resulting in a thermal weld.

The HDPE electrofusion tee is implanted with metal coils at both ends of the outlet, and the other branch outlet is socket type, which is suitable for electrofusion couplers
