After Bitmain's announcement, the firm's next-generation ASIC BM1391 will be the most potent 7nm Finfet chip design. Ebang responded by releasing its models, which outperformed Bitmain's new Antminers by about 2J/TH.

China-based Ebang Communications is one of the biggest ASIC mining chip producers in the industry. They specialize in R&D and the manufacturing of telecommunications products. In a bid to reduce Bitmain's dominance in the industry, they launched the Ebit series. Ebang claimed the new series could boast of hash rate speeds of about 30–44 trillion hashes second (Th/s) when the products were released.

About Ebang Ebit E11+

The Ebang Ebit E11+ is part of Ebang's Ebit Bitcoin mining hardware series. They were released to challenge Bitmain Antminer's dominance in the market. It can reach a peak hash rate of 37Th/s with a power consumption of 2035W.

Released in October 2018, it was part of the company's three models to checkmate Bitmain's dominance in the mining hardware manufacturing industry. The three models were: E11(30Th/s), E11+(37Th/s), and the powerful Ebit E11++(50Th/s).

Algorithm

The Ebit 11+ works with the Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-256), which has up to 40 minable coins, but whose top coins are Bitcoin(BTC) and Bitcoin Cash(BCH).

The SHA-256 algorithm is a member of the SHA-2 cryptographic hash function designed by the NSA. SHA stands for Secure Hash Algorithm. Cryptographic computing functions are mathematical calculations that are run on digital data.

Specifications

The Ebit 11+ comes with an excellent hash rate of 44TH/s and power consumption of 45W/T. The power consumption is 2035W, which is average and uses a 10nm chip DW1233. It also uses an independent heat sink, with excellent heat emission, which allows the efficiency of the machine. The device has a difficulty of 17596800M and a block reward of 6.78726.
It also weighs 6 kg, and with a size of 125 x 155 x 360mm, it is less bulky than other miners and easy to handle. The size makes it easy to set up at home or on a mining farm. It has a power efficiency of 55J/Th and 110 chip pieces.

Noise Level

The Ebit11+ has a noise level of 75dB, which is quite normal. Most miners have a noise rate of 60 to 80 dB, so this device's noise level is nothing out of the ordinary. To better understand this, 60dB is equivalent to an average adult conversation, 70dB is equivalent to a shower running, and 75dB is equivalent to a vacuum cleaner. It means from the staircase, you can hear the miner working in a residential area, though it's best suited for mining farms.

Profitability

The energy cost of generating Bitcoin is estimated, despite its not being equal to the actual mining cost (including equipment, networking costs). By assuming the most efficient mining case generally applied over the current network's hash rate, multiplied by the price in electricity per block (and then divided by the reward to get the coin). The Ebit11+ will make a profit based on electricity costs in areas and market conditions.

When the market favors the top coins, miners get some profitability. A day's work with this miner gives an estimated $4.91, but after electricity costs, it's left with $0.03. Due to high electricity costs, miners should know that profit depends on which coin the market favors at the moment.
