Subassembly Line
Subassembly line mainly used for the subassembly work of vehicle’s components and parts, line body includes door subassembly line, front hanging subassembly line, back subassembly line and instrument subassembly line.
There are many kinds of parts in automobile assembly, the quantity is large, and the operation is relatively complicated. In addition to large systems such as engine, transmission system, suspension, body, steering system, and brake system, interior parts, electrical appliances, wiring harnesses, software, etc. must also be assembled. tube, glass etc. The content includes interference fit, welding, riveting, inlay, screw connection, etc. Therefore, the workload is still very large (generally accounting for about a quarter of the entire automobile manufacturing workload).
Generally speaking, the automobile assembly process mainly includes the following major assembly lines: engine assembly line, door subassembly line, instrument panel subassembly line, interior decoration subassembly line and rear axle subassembly line, and which final assembly line is thickened and the final Test line.
The final assembly line is composed of interior decoration line, chassis line, exterior decoration line, door line, inspection line, rain line, etc. The following is a detailed introduction of the automobile final assembly line:
Assembly interior line:
The body-in-white enters the final assembly from the paint shop, where carpets, wiring harnesses, interior parts, sealing strips, etc. are assembled.
Assembly chassis line
Mainly assemble chassis parts (suspension, wheels), exterior parts (front and rear bumpers), etc., and use modern EMS+VAC mechanical equipment to accurately synchronize during the assembly process
Assembly door line
Assemble the door lifting mechanism, door inner panel, glass, decorative strips, etc., and adopt the friction drive (FDS) system, which has the advantages of no lubrication, cleanliness, and silence compared to ordinary chain motorized lines.
