This stand-alone system is fully automated and is capable of winding self-supporting air coils using wire coated with thermoplastic adhesive. The wire is heated by a hot air supply while being wound onto the coil, resulting in bonded turns. After completion, the finished coil is ejected from the machine with the help of tooling.
