This stator winding machine is designed specifically for the windings of brushless wheel hub motors used in self-balancing scooters. It utilizes the flying fork winding technology and is equipped with two stations, allowing for the simultaneous winding of 9 strands.
The brushless wheel hub motor is integrated into the drive wheel. This design offers several benefits, including a lighter weight for the self-balancing scooter and increased durability for the motor. As a result, the scooter becomes more compact and lightweight, reducing overall mass, minimizing energy transmission losses, and minimizing heat generated by the motor.
Introducing the dual spindle needle-type winding head for high productivity.
This technology includes automatic core indexing, which is driven by an AC servo motor with an infinitely programmable indexing angle. This allows for different winding positions and wire routing paths to be achieved.
Additionally, a programmable 4-position tap puller with wire clamp and cutter is included for automatic tap pulling and end termination. This eliminates the need for manual intervention during winding, resulting in higher productivity, consistency, and safety.
The winding head also features a positively coupled tool holder, ensuring precise angular positioning of the wire guiding/routing fixture. Coordinated movement of the winding head, core indexer, and head traverse allows for very complex wire routing configurations to be achieved with ease.
An electronic wire tension controller under PLC control also facilitates precise tension programmable for different stages of winding. This technology allows for better winding quality and flexibility in routing. Retractable 4-position wire routing guides are also included to achieve high-quality winding and routing.
The technology is controlled by a high-performance multi-axes controller in stand-alone mode with multi-program memory and PC Interface. The flexible menu-driven programming through Windows-based Graphical User Interface (external PC) and user-defined operation sequencing, coupled with a powerful set of intelligent functions, allows for achieving complex winding configurations with exceptional ease.
