Product Description:
In order to avoid measurement errors, it is absolutely necessary, to lead the cores to the Pt100 sensors in the same cable. The cores must have the same cross section. Per channel, a twisted pair is used (for the two terminals of the Pt100 sensors) plus a single core (half of a twisted pair) for the connection to AGND1. Depending on the configured operating mode, the measured value is assigned linearly as follows the return wire AGND1. In the operating mode "Pt100 in 3-wire configuration" two adjacent analog inputs belong together (e.g. EW 6,00 and EW 6,01). For configuration, both inputs must be configured to the desired operating mode, see configuration table Fig. The constant current of the one channel flows through the Pt100 resistance sensor, the constant current of the other channel through one of the wires.
