Use of the input signals at the terminals 2 and 3 (E 62,00 and E 62,01) for the high-speed counter
The two inputs E 62,00 and E 62,01 can be assigned to the internal high-speed counter by configuration. If thecounter is used and therefore configured to one of its possible operating modes, these two inputs are only available for the counter. If the two inputs are to use as normal digital inputs, it has to be made sure, that the high-speed counter is configured to the operating mode "No counter". This operating mode is the default setting (see also the chapter "High-speed counter").Features of the digital outputs:The 16 digital outputs are arranged in two groups of 8 outputs each.The two groups are electrically isolated from each other. The outputs can be loaded with a rated current of 500 mA. Each group as a whole is electrically isolated from therest of the device. The outputs employ semiconductors and are shortcircuit
and overload-proof.
