IEC Test Equipment Apparatus For Checking The Withdrawal Force
Standard of Apparatus For Checking The Withdrawal Force:
IEC 60320-1 ‘Appliance couplers for household and similar general purposes – Part 1: General requirements’ clause 16 and figure 3;
IEC 60884-1 ‘Plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes – Part 1: General requirements’ clause 22, table 16 and figure 18.
Application of Apparatus For Checking The Withdrawal Force:
The construction of accessories shall allow the easy insertion and withdrawal of the plug, and prevent the plug from working out of the socket-outlet in normal use.
The construction of appliance couplers shall allow the easy insertion and withdrawal of the connector/appliance outlet, and prevent the connector/appliance outlet from working out of the appliance inlet/plug connector in normal use.
Parameter of Apparatus For Checking The Withdrawal Force:
1. Test plug: made of hardened steel, provide 3 test plugs and 2 test pins
2. Weights: one set. Superposition can be achieved 100N, the force applied by added weight of 1/10 test force
3. Operation: manual
4. With a safety rope, prevent the drop of test plug
