Turn on obstruction lights - but only when needed. The increasing size of wind turbines is creating safety and social challenges for the wind energy industry, authorities and surrounding cities when it comes to complying with air traffic regulations.
As wind turbines get taller and enter lower airspace, high-intensity obstruction lights are required. The high-intensity lights required by taller wind turbines can appear very intrusive to the wind farm's neighbors and otherwise pristine night sky. High-intensity lights are causing a growing number of wind farm delays and cancellations due to complaints from neighbors and municipalities near the planned wind farm. These problems can be overcome by turning on the obstruction lights only when necessary, i.e. when there are aircraft near the wind farm. Our Obstruction Light Control (OLC) dramatically reduces light pollution from wind farms and increases the success rate of wind farm deployments.
OM2BS Medium Intensity LED Solar Tower Obstruction Light is solar powered obstruction light. Due to solar module’s limitation like solar panel size and battery size, the light is being designed to work under flashing mode instead of stead-burning mode. But advantages like energy saving and cable saving make the solar powered light a good option on obstruction marking.

GPS Sync Flashing Ol800 Solar Obstruction Light has been widely used in aviation obstruction lights. The method can be divided into the application of a centralized control box or the use of the son-mother lamp to realize synchronous control. We found that when the main lamp failed, all other sub lamps could not work normally. Therefore, WelandSignalTM implanted GPS timing module inside the aviation obstruction lights, and the driver accepts the GPS satellite clock timing signal. Even when the next phase of the project is installed, the product will still achieve synchronous flashing with the previous product, which has a strong security vision. The waterproof grade IP67 or above of the aviation lights synchronized by GPS can adapt to the harsh environment of sea water without manual maintenance. It is also the first domestic manufacturer to adopt GPS to achieve synchronous flashing.
