GK 615 Portable VFH Station,Portable Radio Station (G) Becker Mobile Transceiver GK 615
In line with its tradition of lightweight, efficient and rugged avionics, Baker has introduced the Baker GK 615, a mobile VHF transceiver with AR 6201. The GK 615 is ideal for small portable base stations as it is compact, rugged and efficient for small airports, balloons or vehicles. Based on modern production technology (SMD), we achieve optimal performance in a small unit concentration.
The GK615 is a portable aviation ground radio designed by Beck Avionics based on the AR6201 aviation radio, equipped with a portable bag and portable antenna, which can be flexibly used in a variety of occasions such as vehicle, field, temporary landing sites, hot air balloons, and transfer aircraft or glider training.
GK615 built-in 12V2.2Ah rechargeable maintention-free lead-acid battery, is also equipped with a speaker, microphone, transmission power 5-7W, the battery can be charged through an external charger (10-32V), charging time of about 8 hours, in the case of 1:10 duty cycle, about 6 hours of work.
GK615 device has the function of monitoring battery voltage, when the "LOWBATT(low battery voltage)" alarm appears every 5 seconds, to remind the user that it is time to charge, otherwise when the battery voltage is less than 10V, the device will automatically turn off the horn output. Note: Install the microphone and antenna before starting the GK615.
Compact and powerful, the GK615 and 616 portable VHF radios provide a smart and simple solution for mobile and backup communications for airport authorities and air traffic services. Available in several RF power output variants with various accessories.
