Aluminum-titanium-nitrite (AlTiN) is a combination of aluminum, titanium, and nitrogen.

It is an all-around coating that is suitable for universal use.

With the AlTiN coating, hard materials such as steel or stainless steel can be processed.

Another advantage over uncoated tools or tools with a TiN coating is that the use of cooling lubricant is not absolutely necessary.

However, the use of coolant generally increases the service life of the milling cutter.
