What is Urinary sediment stain (For Animals and Pets)?
For staining urinary sediment smears.
Sample requirement:
Urine specimens must be fresh and preferably morning urine. Specimens should be examined within 1h after collection, or stored in cold storage at 4℃ with formaldehyde.
Interpretation of the test result:
1. The neutrophils are purple, the nuclei are purple.
2. The squamous epithelium is dyed lavender, the nucleus is dyed dark purple.
3. The epithelial cells of the bladder are colorless, lilac or purplish red.
4. Transparent tube shapes dyed delicate pink or light rose.
5. Particles dyed red and purple.
6. Particle tube shape dyed pink or dark purple.
7. Yeast cells dyed dark purple or not stained at all.
8. Red blood cells are colorless or lilac red.
