1. Product Introduce
The principle of low-voltage rail power supply is to reduce high voltage (such as 380V) to a safe voltage (such as 36V) through a step-down transformer, and then transmit the electric energy to the track, and then transmit the current to the motor through the power-taking device on the flat car to drive the flat car to run. This power supply method is common in mass transportation systems and material handling equipment, and is safe and flexible.
Power supply step-down: First, the high voltage (such as 380V) is reduced to a safe voltage (such as 36V) through a step-down transformer to ensure safety during the power supply process.
Electricity transmission: The stepped-down electric energy is connected to the insulated track through a wire, and the power-taking device on the flat car contacts the track through a contactor or a power-taking block to obtain electric energy.
Motor drive: The obtained electric energy is converted into mechanical energy through the motor on the flat car to drive the flat car on the track.
Common types
Two-phase power supply: Suitable for flat cars with smaller tonnage, usually two tracks are laid, and DC motors are used.
Three-phase power supply: Suitable for large-tonnage flat cars, it is necessary to lay three tracks and use AC motors. Usually, the 36V electricity is increased to 380V through a step-up transformer to meet the motor needs.
