BS-LIPS5 is a new generation power assisted liposuction system, which integrated high-speed vibrating power assisted liposuction function, aspirator, and infusion function. With the single machine, it is feasible to implement a vibroliposuction surgery, without depending on other devices. WHEN POWER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION SHOULD BE USED.

Similarly to classic, ultrasonic or tumescent liposuction, power-assisted liposuction does not cure obesity. Its goal is removing undesirable fat cells from a particular part of the body. Our clinic has a rich experience in this method, practicing it for liposuction of abdomen, buttocks, thighs and hips, as well as knees or arms.
This type of procedure is preferred by the physicians for the purpose of corrective liposuction. It is used as a complement to other kinds of liposuction, for instance in order to smooth out the transitional areas between parts treated and untreated by liposuction.
A person interested in surgical evacuation of fat should meet several important criteria. They include certain body weight, well delimited body parts with excess fat, a firm elastic skin, a good health condition, as well as a good mental balance. HOW POWER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION IS PERFORMED AND HOW LONG IT TAKES?

The principle of this kind of treatment consists in removal of subcutaneous fat by connecting the vibration cannula with a standard diameter of 3 to 5 millimetres to a vacuum generating device.

Subcutaneous fat is suctioned from tiny incisions by repeated entries of the cannula into the tissues creating miniscule tunnels where fat is removed. During this treatment by experienced Esthé surgeons, a dense net of these tunnels is built, which results in achieving a large and even reduction of subcutaneous fat layer.

A significant advantage of this treatment, similarly to other surgical methods of liposuction, is a permanent effect of the procedure. In an adult, the number of fat cells is stable, cells do not multiply, only their size can change. That is why a reduction of their number using power-assisted liposuction brings a permanent effect to the particular part of the body.
No special preparation is required before this type of treatment. Merely some basic general rules should be observed, such as cessation of use of medications influencing blood clotting three weeks before the intervention. From midnight before the surgery, the patient should not eat, drink and smoke.

However, the intervention requires a good health condition. When an inflammatory skin disease, acne proliferation, eczema, skin fungus or an overall unfavourable condition occurs, postponing the treatment is no problem.

Power-assisted liposuction can be performed under both general and local anaesthesia. Abdominal wall liposuction usually takes 1.5 hours, liposuction of hips or outer thighs approximately 1 hour.

RECOVERY AFTER POWER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION

Contrary to ultrasonic liposuction, swellings and bruises may occur immediately after the intervention. However, they disappear very soon.
During their convalescence, our patients usually wear elastic underwear or girdles.

The result of the intervention is fully visible after 4 to 6 weeks, when patients have no restriction any more.

COMPLICATIONS AFTER POWER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION

Complications caused by liposuction are very rare, and power-assisted liposuction is no exception. As every body responds in a different way to surgery, accumulated liquid in the underskin tissue, swelling, loose skin, unevenness or changes in colour may exceptionally occur. However, thanks to many years of experience of our surgeons, we are able to prevent such phenomena in good time and efficiently.

What are the Benefits of PAL?

Power-assisted liposuction is faster than conventional liposuction and features a significantly shorter recovery time.
