ASTM D256 IZOD Impact Test Machine IZOD Impact Strength Tester is mainly used for measuring the impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as hard plastics (including plates, pipes, plastic profiles), reinforced nylon, fiberglass, ceramics, cast stones, and electrical insulation materials. Widely used in the chemical industry, scientific research institutions, and quality inspection departments in colleges and universities.
This instrument is an impact testing machine with a simple structure, convenient operation, and accurate and reliable data. Please read this instruction carefully before use.
This instrument is equipped with a 7-inch full-color touch screen, which inputs the size of the sample, calculates the impact strength and saves data based on the automatically collected energy loss value. The machine is equipped with a USB output port, which can directly export data through a USB drive. It can be opened on a PC for editing and printing experimental reports.
Working Principle:
Strike the sample supporting the horizontal beam with the pendulum hammer of known energy, and destroy the sample by one shock of the pendulum hammer. The impact line is located in the middle of the two supports, to impact the energy difference between the pendulum before and after, to determine the energy absorbed by the sample when destroyed. The impact strength is then calculated according to the original cross-sectional area of the sample.
Instrument characteristics:
1. The instrument adopts high hardness and precision bearings, and adopts a single axis photoelectric sensor to fundamentally eliminate the loss caused by friction, ensuring that the friction energy loss is far less than the standard requirements.
2. Based on the impact situation, intelligently prompt the working status, interact with the experimenter at all times, and ensure the success rate of the test.
Meet standards:
It meets the requirements of ISO180, ASTM D256, GB / T1843, GB / T2611, JB / T 8761, etc.
