Comparitively, it increases the quantity of chickens reared by 3 to 8 times when compared with the floor deep litter raising system and 1.5 to 4 times than with type 1 in the same house. After reaching 84 days old, the egg laying chickens are moved to layer battery cages

The cage is also equipped with automatic drinking, feeding and manure removal systems, allowing it to operate fully automatically
