Description
Model AvalonMiner 821 from Canaan mining SHA-256 algorithmwith a maximum hashrate of 11.5Th/s for a power consumption of 1200W.

The Avalon 821 831 841 851 Controller is a Raspberry PI 3 Model B Quad Core 64 Bit 1GB WIFI and includes four USB ports. Each USB port may connect to one AUC3 (not included, but AUC3 converter can be purchased separately. Alternatively, the AUC3 comes with AvalonMiner 821, 831, 841, 851 units when purchased directly from Canaan).
Although the Raspberry Pi can control up to 20 Avalon 821 / 831 / 841 / 851 miners, each AUC3 can only connect up to 5 units to a Raspberry Pi. For the maximum simultaneous management of 20 Avalon miner units via a single Avalon Controller, connect (4) AUC3 USB adapters.
Pre-assembled in the USA inside a sleek aluminum case.
The controller we send to you will come along with an SD card with the latest firmware. You can start mining right after plugging in an ethernet cable and adjusting your network settings.
Because of the large memory capacity of the controller, your mining setup will operate reliably. By default there is a “No-WIFI mode” preset, which is the default requirement for large-scale mining deployments.


the new avalon 821 has been listed and we expect to open pre-orders soon. There are no final specs now, but it should be alot more efficient than the older generation. There will be different models of the new Avalon 8 depending on the Hashrate. Right now I can say all the leaks are not really true. Canaan will reveal all final specs on or around 20th of december on their official website. As soon as we get pictures and technical data, we will post it on our website and once we got the final allocation we will start pre-orders.
