This type bitumen tank is very common used matching asphalt mixing plant, the hot thermal oil could be heated by electric tubes and pass through the thermal oil coils inside the tank, many bitumen tanks can be connected together to store high volume bitumen.

Asphalt storage tank components

Electric heating asphalt tank is mainly composed of tank body, rock wool insulation layer, electric heater, asphalt thermometer, asphalt temperature sensor, asphalt level gauge, pressure level sensor, top manhole, asphalt inlet and outlet, ladder guardrails, electric control box and so on.
