Question: How do you control a group of lights?

Answer: You can click the edit button at top right, tap “Create Group” and select other devices,choose all the bulbs you want to control.

Then you can control these lights through the group.

Question: How bright are the colors as bright as the white light? I've seen a lot where the white is bright but colored lights are very dim?

Answer: Very bright. I never use it full 100%

Question: Is a hub required? Can bulb be used with just smart life app?

Answer: I don't have a hub and you can control it with just the app once you add the bulb to it. Within the app you can then link it to Amazon Alexa or Google if you want.
