Injector FAQ
FAQ: The rail pressure sensor works as follows:
ERIKC Answer: When the diaphragm shape changes, the resistance value connected to the diaphragm will also change. The establishment of the system pressure causes the shape of the diaphragm to change, and changing the resistance value will cause a voltage change across the 5V bridge. The voltage varies from 0 to 70 mV (depending on the application pressure) and is amplified by the amplifier circuit to 0.5 to 4.5V.
The relationship between rail pressure and voltage conversion:
P=(V-0.5)* Conversion Factor
P=(V-0.3)* Conversion Factor
Rail pressure = (measured voltage - initial voltage) * 45Mpa
By setting the rail pressure sensor and the fuel metering unit, closed-loop control of the fuel pressure can be achieved. The ECU calculates the theoretically required rail pressure according to the signal input by the relevant sensor under the current operating conditions of the engine, realizes the rail pressure control by adjusting the opening of the fuel metering unit, and relies on the rail pressure sensor to detect the current actual rail pressure. It is compared with the theoretical rail pressure to achieve closed-loop control.
