When various bacterial viruses in water or air pass through the UV (253.7nm wavelength) irradiated area, the UV penetrates the cell membrane and nucleus of the microorganism, breaking the molecular bonds of nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), rendering them incompetent or inactive and dead, thus killing all bacterial viruses without the use of any chemicals. >>>Sterilization efficiency :
Ultraviolet disinfection technology offers unparalleled sterilization efficiency. The sterilization efficiency can be 99%-99.9%. The table below shows that UV technology generally takes less than 1 second to kill several common bacterial viruses.
