Rolled Bronze Bushing Sliding Bearing with Oil Hole and Oil Grooves, Special Designed Split Bronze Bearing
ZR-098 Bronze bushings are intended for radial and axial movements. The bearings are manufactured of a cold formable homoge-nous bronze, which because of this will obtain exceptional material pro-perties. The execution of the flange permits that the bearing also can carry axial loads. The standard sizes are fitted with holes, which are dispersed in a special way over the whole bearing-surface.
These holes with sepcial designed oil grooves serve as lubricant reservoirs i.a. to rapidly build up a lubrication film in the moment of start and therewith reduce the start friction. The properties of the material, together with the procedure of wrapping and calibration, make this type of bearing especially suitable for constructions, where medium or high loads and relatively slow movements are occurring.

Mounting Suggestion
Housing ØH7
Bushing inner-Ø after mountingH9
Shaft tolerance f7
Housing: Mounting bevel min. 1.5 mm x 15-45°
Shaft Material: Steel, hardened or untempered, surface roughness ≤ Rz 4-6
Shaft: Mounting bevel 5 mm x 15°, edges rounded
The application of an adequate force fitting mandrel is advisable. Grease lubrication of the outer surface may
be necessary when mounting.
Stick-in: Adhesive should not contact the sliding surface
