SCREW FLIGHTS

Our products

Screw flights are commonly used to meet bulk material handling needs, such as transferring viscous and sticky materials. The spiral surface has the functions of stirring and mixing materials during the conveying process. The screw flights of the screw conveyors have three forms: solid spiral surface, ribbon spiral surface and blade spiral surface.
Screw flights are widely used for many purposes, including building materials, chemicals, electric power, metallurgy, mining and agricultural industries through to the bulk handling and pilling industries. They are suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdery, granular and small block materials such as coal, ash, slag, cement and grain etc. Usually the temperature of the transferred material is below 200 °C.

The basic design of the screw conveyor has changed little over thousands of years but Changhong has invested time and energy to improve the manufacturing of the flights on the screws and, due to Changhongh’s recent acquisition of the industries most advanced screw flight press, can now supply very large size, high quality flights at its production plant in China for supply worldwide.
