Question:
How Does Buda-U Kids Face Mask, Surgical Face Mask, Medical Face Mask, KN95, FFP2 and FFP3 Respirator Mask Control the Breathing Resistance to make the Mask Has Good Breathability ?
Answer:
Buda-U Kids Face Mask, Surgical Face Mask and Medical Face Mask Have 3 Layers, FFP2 , FFP3 and KN95 Masks Have Five Layers. All of the Buda-U Masks DO NOT Use Poor Quality Meltblown Fabric to Save Cost. Instead, We Use Good Quality Meltblown That Applied Water Electret Treatment Technology During the Meltblown Fabric Production. This Technology can Maintain the Mask's Filtration Rate at a High Level and the Filtration Efficiency Will NOT go down During the Mask's Shelf Life, and also Help the Mask Achieve Lower Breathing Resistance.
We Know Some Masks of Other Brands Might Have Good Performance in Filtration Rate, But It Is Not Breathable Enough. It Does Not Make Sense If the Mask is Uncomfortable to Wear Although the Filtration of the Face Mask is Perfect.
Different face masks have different requirements in breathing resistance, taking FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 as examples. The breathing resistances apply to valved and valveless particle filtering half masks and shall meet the requirements of the Following Table
Table — Breathing resistance
Classification | Maximum permitted resistance (mbar)
inhalation | exhalation
30 l/min | 95 l/min | 160 l/min
FFP1 | 0.6 | 2.1 | 3.0 |
FFP2 | 0.7 | 2.4 | 3.0 |
FFP3 | 1.0 | 3.0 | 3.0 |
