Description

Physiotherapy kinesiology tape is quite different in nature from other tapes. For one, it allows the skin to breathe as it normally should. The adhesive used to apply kinesiology tape is specifically used for medical applications, and thus allows for normal operation of certain bodily functions.

Usage:

Physio tape alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin. The taped portion forms convolutions in the skin, thus increasing interstitial space. The result is that pressure and irritation are taken off the neural and sensory receptors, alleviating pain. Pressure is gradually taken off the lymphatic system, allowing it to channel more freely.
