Definition:

Aramid fibers are considered high-performance fibers due to their inherent flame and heat resistance, with a melting point exceeding 500°C. In addition, these synthetic fibers exhibit exceptional mechanical properties, surpassing those of steel and glass fibers when compared on an equal weight basis.
