AVR R180 Generator AVR Tal Alternator Leroy Somer R180 TAL 40 AVR Alternator Brushless
The R180 automatic voltage regulator (AVR) for the TAL series of industrial alternators provides excitation
current up to 6 A with excellent reliability for permanent magnet (PMG) or AREP excitation types.
The R180 is a folly solid-state automatic voltage regulator which is used for excitation of a brushless alternator powered by a permanent-magnet exciter or by auxiliary windings. The R180 has an accessory input, which can be used as a remote potentionmeter terminal when connected to a 1 KΩ potentionmeter or takes ± 4.5V DC in order to change the terminal voltage.
