Just like any other product-based marketing endeavor, the Clay Block's journey began with customer feedback. In 2008, we received positive feedback about the clay bar for car washing, but customers noted that it required both claying and watering. They had to spray water onto the surface and then use the clay bar to remove contaminants from the car body.

Customers appreciated the effectiveness of the clay bar but wanted a more user-friendly option for the car washing process. They requested that we combine clay with a sponge to create an easier-to-use tool. This led to the development of the first Clay Block.

Brilliatech took on the challenge and set out to innovate the clay process on the sponge. Our goal was to create a sponge that could supply enough water for the clay to effectively remove contaminants from the car body's paint surface. We named this process "claying," which refers to using clay to eliminate impurities.

The Clay Block with a sponge hit the market with great success. More and more customers loved it, and it quickly gained various nicknames such as "clay eraser," "car eraser," "rubber block," and more. Despite the different names, the function remained the same. We also experimented with different shapes, colors, and packaging, but the core functionality remained consistent.

What different of clay block and clay bar?

Key function:

They are same function for car washing process, and try to remove contaminants from car surface paints. But the clay block can not work very well like the clay bar. And also can be remove almost contaminants from paints of car body.
